πŸ’° You can earn up to 20% of the lifetime net-revenue for each referred business.

Instructions

πŸ’‘Good to know: You can select clients to transfer to the new workspace. DatAds will automatically copy their report structure, metric settings, and defaults β€” ideal for agencies setting up a workspace for a client.

  1. Click on the client-workspace dropdown at the top-left

  2. Click on "Create new workspace"

  3. Enter the company-name and company-type

  4. Click on "Create workspace"

  5. The page will reload after a few seconds. You might notice that the settings were not copied over yet. This is expected as DatAds copies your settings in the background. They should be available within a few minutes.

  6. You may also notice, that the connections and ad-accounts are not copied over to the new workspace. The reason is that the business owning the workspace should own and create the connection. Otherwise, ad-accounts might get implicitly deleted in DatAds, if your business manager loses access to the client's ad-accounts.

  7. To conclude the setup, navigate to "Settings" and "Team" and invite all members that should get access to the new workspace. You can find the "Add user" button in the top-right.

  8. The last step is to ask the new workspace-owner to connect their accounts.

  9. Once all ad managers are connected, you should do a final check of the client settings and verify the ad-accounts are assigned to the right clients i.e. the ones you copied over from your workspace containing all reports and settings.

πŸ‘‰ Here is a helpful article you can send them.

Refresher: The difference between "workspaces" and "clients"

Each "workspace" represents a business in the real world (i.e. the brand or agency you are working for). Invoices and referral-commissions are paid at the "workspace" or "business" level

A "workspace" contains a list of "clients". You can think of "clients" like a folder or wrapper in which you can structure your "ad-accounts". Clients also contain all your report settings and defaults.
