With Presets in DatAds, you can create your own views using the metrics and attribution settings that matter most to you.

This means you don’t need a separate report for every analysis.
Simply select the relevant preset from the dropdown – flexible, fast, and consistent.

What exactly is a preset?

A preset is a pre-saved view that contains the following settings, among others:

  • Metrics selection

  • Custom metrics (if defined)

  • Attribution settings

If you would like to learn more about the preset, read this article.

Popular Presets Our Customers Love

1. New Customer Preset

Note: To set up this preset, you’ll need to have a custom conversion for “New Customers” configured – either via Google Tag Manager or another integration.

This preset includes only the metrics relevant for customer acquisition, such as:

  • New Customers

  • Cost per New Customer

  • Spend

  • etc.

Ideal for teams focused on growth and acquisition.

2. Video preset

Specially for analyzing video creatives - e.g. in conjunction with hook or middle part reports. Contains e.g:

  • Thumbstop Ratio

  • Hold Rate

  • View Rate

  • CTR

This is how you can directly combine creative impact and performance.

When are presets particularly helpful?

  • If you are analyzing the same goals on a recurring basis (e.g. new customers or engagement)

  • If you work in a team and want to establish clear analysis standards

  • If you want to combine different report types with suitable metrics without having to build a new report each time

We hope this helps you! And if you have any questions or feedback - write to us at any time.
