How many new ads have I started in a certain period? How many new winners did I produce? Which ads did not perform at all? And which creatives should I iterate on?

Our Launch Cockpit answers all these questions for you - completely automatically.

How to find the Launch Cockpit:

The right launch cockpit set-up

You can also customize everything in this report to suit your specific case.

You can choose between Meta and TikTok as the platform. Google is currently not available, as Google does not provide the launch data for the ads.

You can set the time period in both the Launched and Performance tabs.

  • Launched: The time period in which the ad was launched

  • Performance: The time period of the displayed performance

The Launched period may differ from the Performance period, for example: If today is February 14 and Creatives were launched in January, only the performance data for the last 7 days can be considered.

You can also group the launched ads in the Launch Cockpit using the “Group by” function. The following grouping options are available to you:

  • Creative

  • Ad Name

  • Ad Group

  • Campaign

  • Ad Format

  • Landing Page

  • Headline

  • Description

  • Post ID

  • Dynamic Creative

Filter options in the report

As with the other reports, you have the option of setting your own filters. These affect the entire report:

You can find out more about the “Basic” settings within reports here

Automatic categorization of your creatives

The newly launched ads are automatically categorized into three categories, whereby they end up in the 'Launched' category (far left) by default.

If you select a specific category, you will only be shown the ads that are assigned to this category.

Winners

Categorization is performed automatically by DatAds calculations based on historical account data.

The main conversion is used to evaluate the ads accordingly.

Of course, you can adjust this setting manually at any time to individually determine when an ad should be classified as a winner.

Loser

Again, the categorization is automatic, but you have the option to adjust all settings manually if you prefer.

Opportunities

In the 'Opportunities' category, ads are analyzed using the soft metrics CTR, Thumbstop Ratio and Hold Rate.

These values are based on the account average.

Important: The account average serves as a benchmark to improve the performance of the ad account over time.

When categorizing the ads, it is also possible that an ad is categorized as a winner and as an opportunity. This can happen if the ad fulfills the main metric set in the Winner filter and a metric from the Opportunities filter.

Views

The newly launched ads are automatically displayed in the table view.

This can of course also be changed and you can switch to the grid view (with the sorted medallions).
