1. Where to Find Your Blink AI Settings
First we have to enhance the data that we got.
To start, open the AI section in the left-hand navigation of DatAds.
In the top-right corner, click Settings.
This page contains all global AI settings that influence your workflows including language, tone, and custom instructions.
2. Set Your Output Language
Under Output Language, choose the language Blink should write in.
You can select any available language and therefore your scripts, hooks, and ideas are generated directly in the language your team needs.
3. Add General AI Instructions
In the General Instructions field, you can tell Blink what it should always consider when generating output.
❗IMPORTANT : These instructions apply to all AI workflows in DatAds. Only include things that should truly apply globally. ❗
Examples:
Brand tone: “Always start outputs with “Hi Max“, “Write in a friendly, expert tone.”
Compliance rules:
If you work in a restricted industry (health, finance, etc.), add your brand’s dos & don’ts.
You can upload a PDF in the Knowledge space with health claims restrictions, SOPs, or guidelines.
Or add URLs
💡 Good to know: Your output becomes brand-safe, consistent, and compliant without repeating the same instructions every time.
4. Use Blink Briefs to Personalize Your AI
Blink Briefs work like custom GPTs trained on your brand, product, persona, or country. They allow Blink AI to generate highly personalized scripts instead of generic content.
Where to find them
Scroll down in the AI Settings to the Copywriting section and click Manage Briefs.
Why use Briefs?
They are perfect if:
You have multiple products
You sell in several countries
You work with very different customer personas
💡 Example: A sporty persona in Germany will respond very differently than a beauty persona in the US. Your scripts should reflect that.
How to Create a Brief
Click Add Brief
Name your brief (e.g., Sporty Persona, Protein Powder US, etc.)
Add structured information:
Product descriptions
Benefits & differentiators
Audience insights
Or optionally upload supporting files:
SOPs
Customer reviews
Personas
Compliance documents
💡 Good to know: This produces highly relevant, on-brand creative output.
5. Using Your Briefs Inside a Workflow
Whenever you start a workflow (e.g., Generate Hooks, Write a Script, Create new Copy):
Select the report or creative you want to base it on
Choose one of the briefs you created
Blink combines your data + your brief + DatAds knowledge to generate optimized output
💡 The result: Your scripts basically write themselves but stay fully aligned with your product and audience.
6. Check & Improve Your Client Data for Better Output
Navigate to your Client Settings to review the automatically enriched data Blink uses:
Business description
Website content we scraped
Product categories
Brand tone indicators
You can edit or add missing information at any time.
❗Why this is important: Better input → better output.
Your AI workflows become more accurate, more contextual, and more automated. ❗
What You Get After Proper Setup
Once everything is configured, Blink AI becomes a powerful autopilot tool for your creative process:
Scripts and hooks that sound like your brand
Compliance-safe copywriting (no unwanted claims)
Persona- & country-specific messaging
Massively reduced time to produce new creatives
More winning ads, generated faster
Your AI becomes smarter, more accurate, and more aligned with your business every time you refine your briefs and instructions.
