The Best Performer Report helps you quickly identify which creatives are truly working – across all campaigns and platforms.
It becomes especially powerful when combined with filters.
Here, we’ll show you 3 simple ways to get a better overview of your best-performing creatives – and understand what’s working in no time.
How does the report help you?
The report shows you your top creatives – structured in a way that makes real analysis easy:
Ads using the same creative are automatically grouped together – even if they run in different ad sets or campaigns.
This is especially helpful from a media buying perspective, because you can instantly see which creative is actually scaling.
So you’re seeing true performance per creative – not per ad.

How to adapt the report to your specific needs
1. Break down your best-performing products
Ideal for brands with multiple product categories, e.g. e-commerce businesses
Example:
You sell shoes and want to see whether sneakers or sandals perform better.
Just filter by product category – and instantly see which creatives work best for each one.
This is how it works:
Create a filter: "Ad Name contains Sneaker" and a second report for "Ad Name contains Sandales". Of course, this information can also be at campaign or ad set level.
1. Create a new filter
Go to the filter section of your report view.
Create a filter with the condition: Ad Name contains "Sneaker"
Optional: You can also filter by campaign name or ad set name instead - depending on where you have stored the information.
2. Save your own report
As soon as your filter is set, save the report under a suitable name, e.g. “Sneaker Best Performing”.
3. Create a second filter for sandals
Repeat step 1, this time with the filter: Ad Name contains "Sandales"
Here you can also of course filter at campaign or ad set level.
4. Save second report
Save this report e.g. as “Sandales Best Performing”.
2. View your top performers by country
Ideal for internationally active companies
Example: Want to understand which creatives perform in Germany - and which work well in France? Simply filter by country and compare the results directly.
This is how it works:
Create a filter based on the name logic you use. For example: “Ad Name contains DE” and a second report for “Ad Name contains FR”. Of course, this information can also be at campaign or ad set level.
3. Get an overview of your top performers per funnel
Perfect for lead-gen companies
Example: You want to find out which are your top performing ads per funnel, for example webinar, free trial or PDF funnels.
This is how it works:
Make sure you have the funnel included in the naming at either campaign, ad set or ad level. Use a filter such as “Ad Name contains Free Trial” and apply it to a specific report.
