What is the Best Performer Report?

The Best Performer Report helps you quickly identify which creatives truly perform best – across all campaigns and ad sets.

You can recognize Top Performer Reports by their 🏆 icon.

Ads using the same creative asset are automatically grouped together, even if they run across different campaigns or ad sets.

💡 Pro tip (Media Buyers): Instantly see which creatives are scaling across campaigns and which are underperforming. The data reflects performance at the creative level, not individual ads.

Tailor Your Report to Your Use Case

Here are 3 proven set-ups to help you make the most out of the Best Performer Report:

1. Break down your top products by category

Perfect for E-commerce brands with multiple product lines.

Example:
You sell shoes and want to know whether sneakers or sandals perform better.

→ Filter by product category and instantly see which creatives win in each category.

💡 A consistent naming convention makes your filters 100% accurate.

How to set it up:

1.1. Create the filter

  • Go to the filter section of your report.

  • Create a filter with the condition: Ad Name contains "Sneaker"

  • Optional: You can also filter by campaign name or ad set name instead, depending on where you have stored the information about your products.

1.2. Rename Report

Once your filter is set, save the report under a suitable name, e.g., “Sneaker Best Performing”.

1.3. Create a second filter for sandals

  • Duplicate the existing report or create a new one.

  • Repeat step 1, this time with the filter: Ad Name contains “Sandales”

  • Optional: Same as before, you can also filter by campaign or ad set name.

1.4. Rename second report
Save this report for example as “Sandales Best Performing”.

2. Sort your Top Performers by country

Ideal for international brands.

Example:
You want to see which creatives perform best in Germany vs. France.

How to set it up:

  • Filter 1: Ad Name contains "DE"

  • Filter 2: Ad Name contains "FR"

You can also filter on campaign or ad set level, depending on your naming convention.

3. View your Top Performers by funnel

Perfect for lead generation businesses.

Example:
You want to identify which creatives perform best in your Webinar, Free Trial, or freebie funnel.

How to set it up:

  1. Make sure your funnel type is part of your campaign-, ad set-, or ad name.

  2. Create the filters: Campaign contains "Free Trial"

    1. Repeat for the other funnels.

  3. Apply and save the report.

This lets you see instantly which creatives win per funnel type.

With the Best Performer Report, you can analyze your creatives across any dimension — product, country, funnel, ad angle, format, and more!

This enables you to quickly identify scaling opportunities and make confident, data-driven creative decisions.
