Integration via API

(As of October 16, 2025) We recommend integration via the API, since — compared to the Webhook — the data can be updated multiple times per day. If you’ve been using the Webhook integration so far, follow our Migration Guide to switch to the API integration.

To create a new Tracify connection, follow the steps in the tutorial below:

  1. Scroll down and look for the Tracify 2.0 API Connection

  2. Click "Connect"

  3. Select the ad account in DatAds for which you want to pull Tracify data for.

    1. Important: A separate connection is required for each ad account.

    2. If you manage multiple ad accounts, repeat this process for each one.

  4. Click "Connect"

  5. Enter your email and password from Tracify in the corresponding fields (required for authentication with the Tracify API)

    1. Important: Your password is encrypted with SHA-256 before being sent or stored. This means we never see or store your actual password. All DatAds sees is an irreversible hash. We cannot decrypt or recover the original password.

  6. Enter the CSID and Preset ID into the corresponding fields .

    1. instructions for locating them in the Tracify dashboard are provided further below.

  7. Click "Finish Setup"

  8. Once you see "Connection Successful", you’re done.

    1. We will immediately start loading the data in the background.

    2. You should see your Tracify data in DatAds up to 24 hours

Find CSID in Tracify Dashboard

  1. Open your Dashboard: https://dashboard.tracify.ai/login and log-in with credentials

  2. Visit "Settings" > "Shopsystem" > "WooCommerce"

    1. Copy CSID (the shop system is irrelevant -- the CSID is only shown here)

Find Preset ID in Tracify Dashboard

  1. Open your Dashboard: https://dashboard.tracify.ai/login and log-in with credentials

  2. Visit "Settings" > "Presets"

    1. Copy Preset ID of preferred preset (AI- All Touchpoints, etc.)

Migration Guide from Webhook to API

  1. For each ad account with an active Webhook connection, create a separate API integration as described above.

  2. Wait until the data from the API integration is available in DatAds. You’ll know it’s ready when the connection status shows “Active” and the “2.0” metrics appear under Customize Metrics.

  3. In the next step, replace the old Webhook metrics with the 2.0 metrics across all reports, presets, and digest settings. Unfortunately, this cannot be automated, as not all Webhook metrics are available via the API.

  4. Final step: you can delete the Webhook in Tracify as well as the old Webhook connection in DatAds.
